Proper Wedding Announcement for Kucinich
Tue Jan 09, 2007 at 01:38:28 PM PDT
To me, Dennis Kucinich is a very attractive politician. His out spoken, uncompromising positions on real issues, greatly impress me. But somehow, I couldn't fathom myself supporting him, when he last ran for president. Maybe it was because I wanted so much to guarentee that Bush would lose. (So much for guarentees.) I thought, while Kucinich's views are very close to mine, he is so radical, Americans will not elect him. That stood in the way of me seriously considering him, and he was a bachelor. I don't know why that would be a problem, but I felt it was. Well, Dennis has met and married his princess.
Her name is Elizabeth.
Happy New Years!
Sat Dec 30, 2006 at 07:22:22 AM PDT
I'm back! and so glad to be back. It has been a stormy and difficult couple of weeks. Last week my cable was out. I couldn't even communicate with my KosArt compatriots, because I had no e-mail service. With holiday projects, like stirring up batches of sugared nuts, I was nearly too busy to recognize the symptoms of Daily Kos withdrawl. But I do have a
Saturday Morning Political Cartoon, welcoming in the New Years we will begin with the 110th Congress.. Make the leap and witness the passing of the staff of power.
Strip Pre- tease; Introducing Sister Two
Thu Dec 14, 2006 at 01:37:27 PM PDT
This Saturday Morning Political Cartoons will be hosted by a new Comic KosArtist, SisTwo. "Formly a member of the Silent Majority", SisTwo became part of our very Vocal Minority using the written word back in March 2005, and enjoys cartooning. At her place of employment, SisTwo embellishes a white grease board with different characters, to liven up schedules and to do lists. Her fellow workers requested she do this, because they enjoyed the images she makes.
I saw one of her creations in this diary: A Perfect Storm, giving a new way to look at Rubber Stamp Republicans.
Flip for Sis with me..
Cynthia McKinney's parting gift to Congress
Mon Dec 11, 2006 at 04:19:07 AM PDT
I have a bad case of insomnia tonight.. Lot's of thoughts tumbling through me. Peace with justice is what I seek most. PEACE With JUSTICE will allow me rest..
Not an eye for an eye justice, but an Eye for Justice . To aid that eye the light of truth must be shown on the war profiteering, the back room plans for empire, the lies and deceit that took us into Iraq. Cynthia McKinney, ever the contraversary on the front lines, offered a parting message to Congress. On her last day on the floor, she filed articles of impeachment against George W. Bush and others.
While Thomas does not have the text up on the internet yet, an article linked below the fold quotes the major points.
Saturday Morning Political Cartoon: More MOJO updated
Sat Dec 09, 2006 at 09:16:26 AM PDT
I warned you all. I said I was going to explore MOJO further . I did.
You're going to look at the following and SaY "WHAT?!?" My odder art elicits responses like that sometimes... Last night I had to 'get the lead out' for this project, and at least one other with a deadline (I'm going to return to that project in a very few minutes.)
I wanted to be on time for KosArtists and Apasionados of KosART. Thanks to Stormbear Saturday Morning Political Cartoon even has a banner now:
Out of the black field of potential, collaged out of the STUFF of magical things: red felt, feathers, beads, ideal words and images, into the light comes MOJO:
UPdate Sunday Morning:12/10/06: MOJO for Henry WAXMAN.. contact information has been added to this diary so YOU can to send MOJO to him. KEEP the LEAD OUT (of our air). Contact our leaders!
Leg'go of my mojo!
Tue Dec 05, 2006 at 07:11:43 PM PDT
I'm uncertain of some of the terms used on this website. As "user" number 77,980, I came to this community later than most, sooner than some. USER is a very apt name, since I have become practically an addict with regards to Daily KOS. To date, I've written 77 diaries, and made masses of comments. Why do I do it? For MOJO? I don't even know what Mojo is!
Do you?

Saturday Morning Political Cartoon: New Spirit
Sat Nov 11, 2006 at 08:53:47 AM PDT
I wasn't anywhere near sit down focused enough to draw or paint the past few days, so I went to my Port-Rolio for today's Cartoon. The image was too wide to fit on my scanner, so I took it to the photoshop. In photoshop I'm like a kid with three left thumbs, mostly from inexperience. I learned a couple of things this morning. Cross the great divide to see for yourselves what I present as the infant spirit of Change born on Tuesday...
We voted, and laid the Corpse!
Wed Nov 08, 2006 at 01:46:53 PM PDT
A wave is rolling over this country. It has drowned the Bush/ Gringrich revolution that started in 1994, 'laying the corpse' for the Bush legacy. American citizens came out enmass, during a MIDTERM election, which is unusual. We took back the reigns of power, and handed them to a majority of Democrats. So much news is washing up, it's a veritable treasure hunt on the Internet's beaches. (To find some of these news jewels, see the links at the bottom of this article.)
One thing is very clear, this the beginning of a Change, such as this nation hasn't seen in decades.
The DUTY Dozen, plus Poll closure time info
Tue Nov 07, 2006 at 12:04:24 PM PDT
The PRIMARY word this Midterm Election:
!!!!!VOTE!!!!!!
Poll closing times, state by state, with time zone conversions, followed by 12 things you can do to safeguard the vote today and in future elections!
I posted the Duty Dozen several times in comments over the past several days. Emmasnacker asked me to diary this information for today. So I have.
ElectIons or ElectRons, by Dom Stasi (including exit poll changes)
Mon Nov 06, 2006 at 09:15:03 AM PDT
There is a periodic contributor to my website
Choice Changes, by the name of Don Stasi. I have his permission to post this piece in it's entirety.
About The Author
Dom Stasi is Chief Technology Officer for a national television network. An Air Force veteran, pilot, engineer on Project Apollo, and author of two books and twenty-seven peer reviewed papers, he is a widely published science and technology writer and an American patriot.
In this essay he holds a powerful hope that the Democratic Party stands up to the current power structure. This hope is coming from a man born to Republican parents and raised in Republican circles.
Update: Corrections from comment exchange below.. Exit polls are going to be released later then ever before... Not Canceled and Not conducted later, but their release will be delayed.
Update 2: Dom sent me the article that included clarification of the exit poll rule changes! See below...

DIE it of
Propacandy. It's time for a change of menu.

Little yellow button to topple Sequoia?
Thu Nov 02, 2006 at 11:50:50 AM PDT
Another little flaw has been discovered in the security of electronic voting machines. Sequoia's election machines have a little yellow button that, when used in proper sequence with some simple instructions, sets up a manual override so that a voter (or poll worker or election official or ?)
can vote as many times as they wish. This came to light in California, where the Secretary of State isn't too worried. Instructions have been sent out to poll workers to be wary of people taking too long to vote, and to listen for the beep..
BEEP!
Saturday Morning Political Cartoon: OX he Moron (with poll)
Sat Oct 28, 2006 at 08:15:30 AM PDT
Filing a
Freedom of Information Act request, I was able to discover the existence of another hypocritter, recently declassified from
Home Land Security's science documents. It was kept top secret for oblivious reasons. This creature is the Mascot of the Propaganda Branch of the
HypoChristy party. It's one of those 'man beasts' the current pResident is so afraid will be created from stem cell research.
Saturday Morning Political Cartoon, Updated with the HypoChrilexicon!
Sat Oct 14, 2006 at 08:02:00 AM PDT
Last week I realized the real name of the Party for which the Hypocritter is the mascot!
It's not the Hypocrisy party.. It's the
Eisenhower Carrier Group has Sailed for Iran
Mon Oct 09, 2006 at 01:15:01 PM PDT
On September 18,
a gnostic speculated that the October surprise planned by Republican leadership might just be a Blockade against Iran.
It appears this may be the case as the
Eisenhower Carrier group has set sail for the Iran theater.
Are you ready for another war before the election?
Saturday Morning Political Cartoon; Badly Infected Foleycall!
Sat Oct 07, 2006 at 12:31:31 PM PDT
I know it's only morning for a few more minutes in Hawaii, but I've made it!
This Saturday Morning Political Cartoon shows the serious infection (Foleyculitis) of our Capitol in Washington and implies the much needed surgery to help drain the infections.
